ABOUT EMPIRE RIVERSIDE STAY
Originally built in 1911, the owners, Liviu and Gabriella fully renovated the building in the summer of 2024. The renovation restored Empire's historical character, preserved its coastal heritage and timeless charm, while adding the comfort, functionality, and convenience today’s travellers need. As a husband-and-wife team originally from Ontario, they chose to put down roots in Bridgewater after falling in love with Nova Scotia’s stunning landscapes, welcoming people, and strong sense of community. They proudly operate Empire Riverside Stay ourselves, and they truly care about every guest experience—building genuine relationships and creating a place where you don’t just stay, but feel at home.
